The BLUEBUDZZ is a progressive blues and rock band powered by funky grooves and the necessity to jam. Mainly influenced by classic artists such as Muddy Waters, The Allman Brothers and Santana, The BLUEBUDZZ also look to modern jammers such as The String Cheese Incident, Gov't Mule and John Scofield for inspiration.
Formed in 1999 by guitarist Mark Crissinger of veteran Canadian jamband 'Caution Jam', BLUEBUDZZ HAVE had many talented members influence its growth... including: Bruce Griffin (piano - Caution Jam), Greg Marshak (bass - The Sidemen), Bruce Brooker (drums - Kenny Neal Band), Jeff Heilsholt (Keys - Burt Neilson Band), Les Garant (bass - The Trews ) & Jon McCann (drums - Caution Jam)
In July 2007 Mark moved from Toronto to the Sunshine Coast in beautiful British Columbia. With the help several excellent musicians from the area Mark is working on two new CD's of original music. An acoustic folk 'n' blues project and a live BLUEBUDZZ CD/DVD are to be recorded at this year's Bonfire Music Festival.
